Hi! It’s me, Fanny!
I’m a nature-loving artist and small business owner based in Finland. I create paintings and polymer clay flower earrings inspired by the beauty of the natural world.
My passion for art began at a young age. I spent countless hours drawing and painting, and I knew early on that I wanted to pursue a career in art.
In 2009, I moved to Sweden to study art at Konstskolan i Stockholm. After graduating, I continued my studies at Konstfack, University of Arts, Crafts and Design, where I received my degree in art teaching in 2015.
I currently work as an art teacher in high school, but I also run my small business selling my artwork on the side. I love teaching and inspiring the next generation of artists, but I also cherish the time I have to create my own art.
My inspiration
Nature is my biggest inspiration in art. I love the asymmetry found in nature and exploring different shapes. I enjoy playing with both realistic and abstract elements of flowers and plants. Colors are also important to me in both my paintings and jewelry. I hope that my work brings joy to others.
My process
I work in a variety of mediums, including acrylic paint, watercolour, and polymer clay. I love to experiment and try new things. I’m always looking for new ways to express my creativity.
My earrings
My polymer clay flower earrings are made with love and care. I use high-quality materials and take the time to craft each earring to perfection. I love the way polymer clay allows me to create delicate and detailed flowers.
My paintings
My paintings are more abstract in nature. I like to use colour and texture to create a sense of movement and energy. I hope that my paintings evoke an emotional response in the viewer.
My hope
I hope that my art inspires people to appreciate the beauty of the natural world and to find joy in the simple things in life. I also hope that my small business supports other small businesses and helps to keep the creative economy alive.
